Impromptus

Music and movement in situ
For all audiences from early childhood onwards

Variable geometry forms that can respond to a specific request from a place, a daycare center, a theater, a park, a city…

Artists with multiple talents – music, dance, theater… – resonate with places and audiences, compose, weaving between the company’s repertoire and improvisation, new forms that can respond to particular times, exhibitions, festivals, season openings…

These shows are proposed by a team of artists-improvisers very used to performing for early children and to the adults who accompany them. Voice, rhythm, body in movement… The arts intersect and sensory poetry is invited for suspended times where a singular encounter with the place and the public is created.

In the continuity of its indoor shows, the company proposes outdoors forms addressing all audiences, from the youngest age. It has thus created Quatre à Quatre (Parc du Château de Ladoucette / Drancy, Festival Printemps de Parole / Parc de Rentilly, Festival Temps Danse/ Théâtre du Beauvaisis-Scène Nationale), Primo Tempo in open air (tour in Reunion Island, Parc Jean Moulin les Guilands in Bagnolet, Jardin de l’Evêché in Limoges…), The Sowers (tour in Oise with the Théâtre du Beauvaisis, P’tit Festival de la Butte d’or…), The sowers’ ballad (Parc Floral de Paris), Ballad from above the sky (commissioned by the Conciergerie de Paris as part of the exhibition of the artist El Anatsui).
