Impromptus

Music and movement in situ

Flexible forms that can meet the specific needs of a place, a crèche, a theatre, a park, a town…

Artists with a wide range of talents – music, dance, theatre… – resonate with the venues and audiences, weaving together the company’s repertoire and improvisation to create new forms that can be adapted to specific times, exhibitions, festivals, season openings…

These shows are put on by a team of performers who are very familiar with early years audiences and the adults who accompany them. Voice, rhythm, bodies in movement… The arts come together and sensory poetry is invited in for suspended moments where a singular encounter with places and audiences is created.

As a continuation of its indoor shows, the company offers off-site performances aimed at all audiences, from a very young age. It has created Quatre à Quatre (Parc du Château de Ladoucette / Drancy, Festival Printemps de Parole / Parc de Rentilly, Festival Temps Danse/ Théâtre du Beauvaisis-Scène Nationale), Primo Tempo in the open air ( on tour in Réunion, Parc Jean Moulin les Guilands in Bagnolet, Jardin de l’Evêché in Limoges…), The Sowers ( on tour in Oise with the Théâtre du Beauvaisis, P’tit Festival de la Butte d’or…), The Ballad of the Sowers (Parc Floral de Paris), the Ballade du Haut du Ciel (commissioned by the Conciergerie de Paris as part of the exhibition by artist El Anatsui).
