ANiMA
2020
This new creation marvels at the momentum of life that runs through us and transforms us.
Two musician-singers meet, play with their bodies and the material, caress the air with their voices and their veils, making the impalpable perceptible. They create a soft and surrounding universe in which light and sound vibrate.
Diving into an aquatic world reminiscent of the first cells, they travel through the history of life, crossing several stages of transformation at the border between plant, animal, mineral … In walking this way, they question what makes our humanity and our close link to nature.
This poetic fresco takes us on a winged ark in a soothing and sensory universe, close to the state of presence of young children.
Nourished by the sounds of the world, the songs and instruments (Chinese flute, Malagasy vahila, chalumeau from Central Europe…), evoke a journey and the resonance of cultures beyond borders. Light, bodies and textiles intermingle and weave a sensitive story where colors quiver.
