From the crank to the roundness of the drum, from the centrifugal force to the spiral, the shapes and movements resonate with the play of water and the rhythms composed. Poetry is invited in to make the words sound like musical notes, or as if the circle of the letter “O” were filled with water…<\/p>\n

Through the symbol of water and the circle, the two artists explore the cycle of life, the construction of identity through one’s own reflection and the relationship with others. A show for young and old to enjoy together, from the perception of cycles to the pleasure of “coming full circle” together.<\/p>\n

This project was born out of a meeting between two artists, both of whom are involved in creating musical theatre for very young audiences. In 2013, Florian Allaire, with his company A Tous Vents based in Puy de D\u00f4me, invited Florence Goguel to direct his solo Brin d’Air. From the pleasure of working together on stage, researching and improvising, came the desire to share a project that would bring the two artists together on stage. Taking up the challenge of bringing together two strong artistic universes, drawing on the richness of music, theatre and the visual arts. From these exchanges over time, gleaned from each other’s tours, a form gradually took shape for the very young around the theme of the cycle and the loop, the wheel and the round, the cog…<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]

“This musical and visual poem begins with a simple letter: the “O”. The circle of the ‘O’, the circles in the water, the circle, the spiral… Everything that evokes the shape, the material, the sounds of this plural ‘O’ is expressed in a rhythmic exchange between the two performers: body, voice, music, images. Florence Goguel and Florian Allaire, both musicians and actors, share the same desire and the same intention on stage: to make the little one resonate with something essential and unique to him or her.
