TIMÉE

or the Stars Sowers

Musical and dance performance
Family audience from 4 years old
Created in 2017
Timée, little prince or lunar Pierrot, takes us on an initiatory odyssey to meet the sky and the stars. Singing, dancing and percussion intersect with the evocative sounds and shapes of sculptural instruments : Baschet crystal, cordobass, glass keyboard punctuate a lunar scenography of lights and vibrant images. Guided by the words of children and the voice of musicians, the audience is taken on a sensory journey opening the doors of possibility to the confines of our imagination.
TIMÉE evokes the child’s questioning of the world and space. Between sky and earth, between visible and invisible, child-stars or sowers of light take us on a lunar stroll, in the footsteps of the Milky Way, in the heart of the solar winds… Movements, music, lights, images, resonate to create a poetic fable, bewitching and sensitive.
TIMÉE was created within the framework of the association with the Théâtre du Beauvaisis. The company went to meet the children of the territory to question their link to space and the cosmos. Their words fed the dramaturgy and the sound writing of the show. The sensory poetry invites itself in the hollows of our ears…
“The child, like a demiurge, is at the heart of the tale told by the three performers through sound, words and movement, bathed in a magnificent scenography of lights and images.”

Ballad from above the sky

A dancer, a musician and a singer-storyteller take the audience on a sensory and poetic journey. The musical and choreographic language developed in Timée or the Stars Sowers is revisited in this outdoor form, constantly invented according to the place.
